With most traditional QR skewers the design uses a clamp adjust lock to tighten. With the Corki Cycles titanium quick-release skewers, we use a ratcheting system instead of a clamp. This ensures a tighter and more secure wheel, without the hassle and struggle of undoing the clamp. Position the QR skewer handle in the best position by pulling the spring-loaded handle and locking it into place. This design provides up to 50% more clamping force than standard QR skewers.

The road bike's titanium front and rear quick-release skewers weigh together 70g/2.46 ounces.

Made out of titanium: great. Expensive, for what you are getting, since they are just screw and nut. What happened to the old fashioned locking mechanism?
I like this kind of skewer. It’s a little sticky when pulled but I believe this is just being new and will break in on use.
Just buy these. Don't even think twice. This is such an outstanding upgrade compared to a regular skewer. Not only does it give you the opportunity to clamp your wheel on with much greater force, it's shaved 40 grams off of my former quick-release skewer set. This is a beautiful set of skewers and the mechanism by which it works is ingenious. In fact, I'm shocked that the industry has not moved to this type of ratchet system already. It's a true game changer for people without a thru-axle. For the price, I can't imagine a better set of skewers. If I could give this 6 stars I would.
