This is very similar to many of the budget cranksets out there available in this price range. Which is not a bad thing. They are very solid and reasonably light. The included chainring was good quality as well. Great for resto-modding old mountain bikes.
I mounted this crank on my commuter bike where it is seeing daily use. Installation was hassle free without any issues. The preload cap requires a 10mm allen (which not everyone may have). The 1x chainring does not cause any unusual vibration nor have I had a chain drop yet. The bearings fit on the 24mm spindle perfectly. I do not notice any runout of the ring/spider or crankarms. Considering 1x chainrings are going for over $20 at time of this review, this crankset is actually a very good deal for someone looking to make the conversion. So far I have not come across any issues and the 104BCD should make chainring replacement easy. This crankset is probably best suited for someone looking to ditch their 2x or 3x crankset and get a solid, serviceable 1x crankset for a decent price.
Great set of square drive arms at a great price. Went on my track bike. Don't forget a crank arm puller.
A decently made crankset. There's nothing really special about it, and nothing wrong. The 36T gear is the one I went with, with a decent range to choose from. Can recommend
