With any braking system, either disc brakes or V-brakes, the pads will always need replacing. But before so you want good wear. The Corki Cycles V-brake pads use a soft yet wear-resistant compound for long-lasting braking power.

The Corki Cycles V-brake pads design ensures that even on the muddiest of MTB trails you still have powerful braking. The brake pads' surface and tread pattern is designed to maximize water, mud, and sand dissipation as you ride. Utilizing this design there are no squealing brake sounds as you ride!

In every set of Corki Cycles V-brake pads you receive 4 brake blocks. 2 pads for the front and 2 pads for the rear V-brake. The brake pad size is the optimal 70mm and is available in both blue and red. 

Before ordering check your current brake pads for compatibility. The Corki Cycles pair of MTB V-brake pads are compatible with: Shimano, Sram, Avid, and Tektro V-brake systems. Use our V-brake pads in both dry and wet conditions with responsive braking.

For every set of 70mm V-brake blocks, you receive a hex wrench. Each V-brake pad is equipped with 1 hex nut and 4 washers. To install remove your front and rear wheel. Remove the old pads and clean the V-brake thoroughly checking the brake cable for fraying. Set up 2 washers on each side of the brake pad and tighten the new pads into position. Attach your wheel and adjust and align if needed to ensure smooth braking.

⚙️ How do I install the V-brake pads?

To install please follow your V-brake manufacturer's recommendations. V-brake installation is pretty simple. remove your wheels first and then undo and remove the old pads. Ensure the new pad is tightened secure using the Allen key and then put the wheels on. With your wheel on adjust the angle and block placement.
