It's a very strong caliper type of breaking system for your bike. The tension on the spring is smooth and it's very adjustable in all moving parts. These calipers are meant for 1" bicycle rims but not meant for tires that are more than 1" tall. There is a quick release lever to allow for quick wheel changes if need be. The paint is good. It's easy to install when using the proper tools. These are just the calipers and there are no levers or cables. A great buy when putting a custom bike together or updating your current bike.
So happy to find these to fit my old road frame that was missing calipers, dual pivot gives these much stopping power, easy adjustment to center too
